Coaches Registration Opens June 1

Coaches registration for the 2026-2027 open June 1, 2026.

If you are new to coaching within CTK CYO (or were not registered last season), all the following Oakland Diocese requirements must be met to be cleared for the upcoming season:

1. Complete Virtus Training If you have not completed any Virtus training before, click on First-Time Registrant to register and complete the course “Protecting God’s Children”.
2. Complete Live Scan fingerprinting Go to the UPS Store in Pleasant Hill with the attached “Request for Live Scan Service” form.  CTK CYO has an account here, so it can be charged directly to CTK CYO.
3. Confirm Virtus Training and Live Scan are complete Once your Virtus and Live Scan are cleared, we ask that you provide a screenshot showing these items are completed by going into your Virtus online account and clicking on ‘Training History’.
4. Complete New Coaches Workshop Multiple dates will be available to satisfy this requirement. Dates, times, and locations will be available in the Fall.

1.  You will need to have completed a Virtus safe environment training AFTER September 1, 2023.  If your most recent Virtus training was before this date, you will need to complete a new one and send me a new screenshot of your Virtus Online ‘Training History’ sheet.
2. If step 1 is completed, Register online as a returning coach on the Oakland Diocese website. A link will be provided when the registration portal opens.
